How to Handle Order-Related Issues

If you encounter any order-related issues while trading on Bityi, follow these guidelines:

1. Order Not Executed

Check your order price. If the price you entered is too high or too low compared to the market price, there may not be a matching order for execution. Your order will remain pending in the order book.

  • Solution:

    • To complete the trade faster, consider canceling the order and setting a new price.

    • Or use a market order to buy or sell immediately.

2. Order Rejected

To prevent market manipulation and protect traders, Bityi enforces the following order execution limits:

  • Market orders will only match the top ten best buy/sell orders in the order book. Any order exceeding this limit will be rejected.

3. Why Are Spot and Contract Prices Different?

Spot and contract markets operate independently, so price differences are normal.

  • Contract trading involves leverage, holding costs, and a different user base with varied trading volumes.

  • Contract trades settle at a specified future date, whereas spot trades settle immediately.

  • These factors result in price discrepancies between spot and contract markets.

4. Why Is My Spot Order Execution Price Different? What Is Spread?

Price differences are normal, especially for market orders and conditional (planned) orders, which execute at market prices.

  • Bityi aggregates liquidity across platforms to match the best prices for quick execution.

  • Market orders may impact prices, causing a spread.

Example:
If BTC index price = 50,000 USDT, and a user places a market order to buy 3 BTC, the matched prices could be:

  • 1 BTC at 50,001 USDT

  • 1 BTC at 50,079 USDT

  • 1 BTC at 50,100 USDT

  • Final average price = 50,060 USDT, meaning a spread of 60 USDT from the index price.

  • Spread is influenced by market liquidity, volatility, and order book price gaps.

5. Other Order Issues

If you experience any other order-related issues, log in to your Bityi account and contact Bityi’s official support for assistance.
